Hosted by Write Out Loud Woking at Phoenix Cultural Centre CIC, this welcoming monthly poetry open mic takes place on the last Monday of every month in the venue’s relaxed Public Living Room space.

Poets can sign up on the night for a 5-minute slot to share their work. The event is open to all poetic styles and experience levels, and to audience members who come to listen. Some months there are special guest headliners invited by Write Out Loud co-hosts Rodney Wood and Liz Kendall. 

Sign-up for the open mic begins at 6.45pm for the 7pm–9pm event. Entry is £5 (cash only, please) to help support the running of the night.

Whether you want to perform or simply listen, Write Out Loud Woking offers a friendly, supportive atmosphere to share words, ideas and creativity.
