The Music of Sound is a postclassical dreampop trio blending ethereal vocals, ambient electronics, and cinematic arrangements into a sound that’s as bold as it is beautiful. Fronted by South Indian vocalist Sherin, with Elena Trent’s haunting flute and Dr. Neil March’s lush, genre-bending compositions, the band has earned BBC support, critical acclaim, and international playlist love. From their breakout set on the BBC Introducing Stage at Latitude to their 2024 debut album Eleven Short Stories, they’ve evolved into one of the UK’s most compelling new acts—equally at home on festival stages and late-night radio.
