An evening showcasing excellent local musicians

Following the popularity of October’s spooky Acoustic Sessions, the Fiery Bird will host the third of their sessions on 27th November. Five fantastic local songwriters will take to the Fiery Bird stage:

Hailing from Woking, award winning songwriter Beth Keeping will begin the night with her life-inspired, country pop songs. In the last 2 years her search for new lyrical stories and influences has taken her on writing trips to Ireland, Estonia, Andalusia and America

Basingstoke based singer Celia Barrett will be up second. With her mindful lyrics woven in with her melodic guitar playing, Celia really knows how to put a song together.

Singer, pianist and guitarist Vic Cracknell will follow with an eclectic mix of original songs. He is a huge supporter of the local live music scene, running his own live nights across Surrey and hosting a stage at Weyfest music festival.

The penultimate act of the night is country folk singer Rebecca Jayne who has charted both the Top 100 iTunes Singles Charts and Top 40 iTunes Album Charts with her self titled debut EP released in 2016.

The Mark Nelson Trio will finish off the night with their pop-blues originals. The band consist of Mark Nelson singing lead vocals and playing guitar (slightly differently as he does it one-handed!), Paul Stone on percussion and Phil Thorpe on blues harp.

The Fiery Bird doors will open at 19:30, entry is £5 and music runs from 20:00 – 22:30. Be sure to arrive early to catch all the amazing
acts! It’s due to be a brilliant night of live music!
